One-site release crawl and metadata verification

A bounded release check of one consulting website, after repairs, covering URL availability and HTML metadata on 3 October 2026.

What was measured

One deterministic post-repair release crawl. URL variants, response types and required metadata were recorded in retained JSON evidence. The HTML subset was assessed separately from machine-readable endpoints.

Instrument: HTTP crawl and HTML metadata audit with retained per-URL JSON results

Recorded findings

  1. In one post-repair crawl of one consulting website, all 177 requested URL variants returned successful HTTP responses; the set contained 170 HTML responses and 7 machine-readable responses.

n=177; 2026-10-03 to 2026-10-03; method: Fetched the enumerated sitemap routes and explicit acceptance variants once per crawl entry, retaining status, response type and URL. Variants are not distinct websites or independent reliability samples.; recorded value: 177 successful URL-variant responses
  2. The same release check found no missing or invalid required metadata in its 170 HTML responses after the recorded repairs.

n=170; 2026-10-03 to 2026-10-03; method: Parsed each retained HTML response for the release audit's required metadata and recorded anomalies; machine-readable responses were excluded from the HTML denominator.; recorded value: 0 failed HTML metadata checks

Limits and privacy

  • One website and one release window; this is not a multi-site study or uptime measurement.
  • A successful HTTP response does not establish functional correctness, accessibility or successful enquiry delivery.
  • URL variants can share the same underlying page and must not be treated as independent page samples.

Anonymisation: Only aggregate counts and the method are retained. Private host details, account identifiers, logs, credentials and individual enquiry data are excluded.
